I made a PowerPoint for Braska that has letters, numbers 1-10, and colors to practice. She LOVES it, and she's absolutely shocked us at what she knew, even the first time we did it! Sesame Street is getting through to this girl, let me tell ya!
So I've uploaded pieces of the presentation online so anyone can access it.
LettersNumbersColorsAnd here's a link to Braska doing some of them from a couple weeks ago.
http://braskabear.blogspot.com/2009/04/letters-and-numbers.html She's now able to count from 1-10 without any prompting. And she can identify several of the letters by sight even out of order now. When doing them in order, she can do about 18 out of the 26 letters on her own. It's awfully fun to watch!!! She requests to practice these a few times a day, and she even clicks the mouse touchpad on my laptop to advance the slideshow, though the control is not great yet, so it can be a bit fast at this point.
If you'd rather have the PowerPoint version all in one piece (and it has some additional sections like alpha with pictures) drop me an email and I'll send it to you. braskasmom at gmail dot com
