Hi All
As you know, World Down Syndrome Day is coming up soon. (March 21) This year is the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the trisomy 21 chromosomes.
IMDSA is holding its 3rd annual Genes Day for World Down Syndrome Day. This is for ALL FORMS OF DOWN SYNDROME!
Genes Day is very exciting and gives you a great opportunity to educate your community on Down syndrome and have fun at the same time.
Participants donate $1 or more to wear their jeans for the day at work or school ($10 donation will get them a special Genes Day T-shirt for the event)
IMDSA provides printable flyers for you to use to take to your school or workplace to help educate others. There is also a list of suggested games and activities for children to better understand Down syndrome in the school.
Everyone makes a team through the special Genes Day Team site and the top fundraising team will receive cool prizes that will further help them with raising their child.
